MiG Ayesa was most recently seen onstage starring as 'Jamie Crimson' in the world premiere production of the Air Supply musical, ALL OUT OF LOVE.
He started his professional career in Australia playing ‘Ritchie Valens’ in BUDDY. He was then chosen to join the London cast including a ROYAL VARIETY PERFORMANCE for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. MiG’s other West End credits include ‘Galileo’ in WE WILL ROCK YOU, ‘Angel’ in RENT, and in Michael Jackson’s THRILLER LIVE. His Broadway credits include BURN THE FLOOR and as ‘Stacee Jaxx’ in ROCK OF AGES. Back in Australia, he played ‘Danny Zuko’ in GREASE, ‘Dandini’ in CINDERELLA, ‘Aladdin’ in ALADDIN, ‘Tony’ in WEST SIDE STORY, toured Australia and Asia with THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER, ‘Angel’ in RENT, and ‘Joe Vegas’ in the Australasian Tour of FAME. In 2013, he reprised the role of ‘Galileo’ for the 10th Anniversary World Arena Tour of WE WILL ROCK YOU and recently toured New Zealand as ‘Rooster’ in ANNIE. In 2015, MiG starred as 'Robert Kincaid' in the first international production of THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY in Manila, Philippines.
On television, MiG starred as ‘Joe King’ in the AFI Award winning series THE FERALS. His other TV credits include FIL IT UP, MISSION: TOP SECRET, HITS AND MEMORIES, THE MIDDAY SHOW, IMT, CAROLS IN THE DOMAIN, IT’S ABOUT TIME, CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT, PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS, VIDIOT, GOOD MORNING AUSTRALIA and HEY HEY IT’S SATURDAY as well as various commercials including a global campaign for RAY BAN. MiG’s film credits include playing a Brooklyn Vampire in QUEEN OF THE DAMNED and a latex-covered serial killer in SUBTERANO.
MiG finished third in the global hit TV show ROCKSTAR:INXS, and released his self-titled debut album, ‘MiG’, through Decca/Universal. He was an original cast member of HANDEL’S MESSIAH ROCKS: A JOYFUL NOISE and appears on the soundtrack through Sony. His latest album, MORE THAN EVER was released in late 2011.
MiG is currently in the process of working on new material for an upcoming album.
